Report finds sexual harassment common at school “Boys increasingly report they are the targets of such harassment, while the number of reports from girls has remained steady compared to a survey from 1993.” 80% of girls responding and 79% of boys have been sexually harassed.
As one might expect, and what any girl will tell you was true when she was in high school. In fact, good luck finding a girl who has attended high school in the last 40 years, who wasn’t sexually harassed. However, what of these boys? Sexual harassment by whom? Other boys? Teachers? Girls? The article is rather hazy on that point. It babbles on happily about girls, but makes little mention as to the details or nature of what’s going on with the boys. Since the survey states that boys are harassed 1% less than girls, one would think that a little more attention would be paid to the fact. I guess they are supposed to suck it up.
