In 1999, Diane Bernard and Jeff Krulik produced I Created Lance Link. A documentary about the 70’s Saturday morning series that included an all primate cast. My favorite part of the show was the musical interludes. They put these animals in wigs, hipster clothes, and handed them instruments and then laid down a track for them to “lip sync” the result was hilarious. The all-chimp band was called “The Evolution Revolution” and I think they did original music.
I remember, as many of you do, loving this show. Jeff and I were talking about this show, fondly. We knew that it made a brief comeback in the early 90’s via Comedy Central. But, it’s not the sort of thing that Cartoon Network would be intersted in.
I’m sure that there is more information available about this show but, it will jog your memory banks.
