I first saw this sign while in Korea, but the bottom half of it was torn off so, I never knew what it said beyond “Das rubbernecken.” part.
When I went to Germany for a few months, I saw the sign in its entirety in a radio control room in Grafenberg.
Which houses the largest man made entity on the earth… a huge target range. I think that there is more concrete there than on any man-made structure on the planet and is one of the few things man-made that can be seen from space.
Anyway, I had this sign up in every computer room that I ever worked at, managed, or even hung out in. I’ve just noticed that its not here at home. Have to rectify that situation. I did a little looking around and know that the sign has WWII origins but, it has appeared all over radio and telecommunications control rooms, computer rooms, engineering control rooms and the like all across the country.
