I’ve done a bit of optimization to allow the comments posting and searching to work a bit faster. Part of the reason that things are taking so long is due to the sheer size this place is getting to be. There are almost 1400 entries here for gods sake! I never realized there was that much drivel here.
A bit of javascript has also been added in order that you will be remembered when you post comments. That way, you don’t have to go to the trouble to re-enter that text each time. Also, spell checking has been added to the comments links thanks to spellchecker.net. It was pretty painless and works very well, for free even.
Spell checking has also been added to the authors posting menus. Let me know if you experience any problems with these changes.
