Neighbors mourn postal worker, a fallen victim of Anthrax. So, my question is this: Why did all of the rich politicos on Capitol Hill get tested, antidotes, antibiotics, and screening for Anthrax when (obviously) the working class postal workers who actually see the infected letters first were not? That’s a million dollar question. I hope the postal workers union is looking into this as well as calling the FBI and the CDC on to the carpet for a good reason as to why there were no precautionary measures taken. |

The gov’t blamed it on tainted meat… however, in 1992 Yeltsin admitted that it was due to an accident at a germ warfare laboratory. Little else is known about the accident, however.
I’ve been using Trillian lately. It allows me to use ICQ/AIM/Yahoo all at once, that rocks. Evidently, this program also lets you use IRC too but, I haven’t been able to get that to work. Although, I really haven’t tried too hard… I’ve been off IRC for 3 or 4 years now. Don’t know a soul anymore

CHENEY SEEN IN PUBLIC!!! – as Bush Stopped in California on the way to China summit. Bush noted that he stood 2,500 miles from New York and Washington and away from any Anthrax, “Yet for all of us, an American is an American, no matter where we live, no matter what our race, no matter how we pray.” Wait, I thought we were on the secular side of this holy war. Anyway, Cheney, who worked most of last week from a “super-secret secure location” away from the White House, walked Bush out to the south lawn Wednesday morning to say goodbye. Or, at least it was a well done doppelganger… We’ll see, I have yet to see him speak publicly. I do hope he’s not… nevermind.
Taliban Seizes 2 U.N. Food Warehouses. Making a dire situation even worse, the Taliban has seized about 7,000 tons of food that was stored as part of U.N. hunger relief effort. Wonderful humanitarians, don’t you think?
Today the U.S. House voted to keep Net tax ban… This is great news here in Michigan. Without much fanfare, our State Atty General Jennifer Granholm led the multistate internet tax bandwagon here in Michigan. This would quite effectively transfer billions of dollars (on top of the billions they receive now) from our pockets into theirs (fucking lawyers). Thank god someone remembers who votes them in and out… business, that’s who. Who else would, yet another tax hurt, their most import constituent. Stupid assholes… I’m so angry over this one.
Uncle Sam takes time out of his busy schedule to examine what some of our corporate terrorsts have been up to lately. These guys are the same guys that tried to legally gain right to hack into your computer and delete your “stolen” MP3s. Not that I think they won’t try anyway… Even worse, they tried to sneak it on the anti-terrorism bill that was passed last week.

Evidently there have been some people who have seen that I published a photograph (see above) depicting the flag being burned and these people become very upset. In fact, upset enough to post on the main page and send me e-mails telling me to get it off my site.
Unfortunatlely, they did not look close enough to see what the photograph really was.
Allow me to explain… It depicts a person (of unknown origin) igniting and burning a U.S. flag, the fire gets out of hand, and consumes the persons entire arm. This is a predicament that I found particularly amusing… if you will simple irony. Please, click on it, or if you can’t reach that high, then click here for the full photo.
Sadly and much to my suprise, rather than assume that I would never, ever condone or support such an action, they would apparently wish to assume that I would support such an act.. That is the crux of the issue to me, the part that shocked me most. The assumption was that I did indeed support such a sentiment. Rather than click on the picture and see what I was refering to, they glanced at the image above and assumed the worst.
Please, be critical, please question me, please do take me to task about what I say and do here at paxtonland… However, please take the time to investigate that your fight is a good one and be prepared to defend yourself well.
